Confirmation Sponsor Guidelines:

1 – The sponsor must be at least 16 years old
2 – The sponsor need not be the same sex as the candidate
3 – The sponsor must have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist and Confirmation
4 – The sponsor must not be a parent
5 – The sponsor must be in good standing with the Church
